Poem 115 of 230: SUNDAY CRICKET AND BERRIES - SUMMER 2000
From a bus (98 -
Bury to Manchester),
I got off at the gate
To Hamilton Road Park,
Where in situ I ate
Several blackberries
(The taste too good to wait),
Before making my way
To a further park-gate,
Where for a while I watched
How Stand's cricketers rate.
