Poem 85 of 230: LANDMINES
I’m thinking of Sting’s song “Russians,”
Which notes the ways wars can be fought;
He highlights nuclear weapons,
And there’s another insane sort:
Landmines kill and maim innocents,
Long after their targets have fled;
To them should go layers’ repents,
And mine production should be dead.
