Poem 89 of 230: PEOPLE OR MONEY?
While I was at technical college,
My teacher once asked the class:
“What is the most important thing in life?”
Us students just let it pass.
“Money!” said the teacher, ending the pause.
But, in hindsight, I do find
That putting people ahead of money
Is vital for humankind.
