WALKABOUTSVERSE 60 OF 230

Poem 60 of 230:  GREEN-LIGHT

Things go relatively fast in England,
    With pelican-lights no exception -
Re pedestrians, a young fleet-of-foot’s
    Street-crossing time seems the selection.
But if - for the aged - leaders increase times,
It surely won’t cost them election.
