Poem 24 of 230: THROUGH SOUTH-EAST ASIA
A highlight of South-East Asia -
As with other tropical lands -
Is the abundance of fresh fruits,
At cutting which some have deft hands.
And, from these fruits, I’d often choose -
To cool down from tropical heat -
A freshly prepared coconut:
Chopped to drink; kernel scooped to eat.
